The Scarecrow Festival is taking a break in 2026, but we hope it will return in 2027.  We need more support and locals to build scarecrows!  In the first year (2021) we had over 40 scarecrow displays around the village, in 2025 it was only 15.  Though they were all brilliant, wonderfully creative and greatly enjoyed, we need more participation if the event is to continue.

The Dinner Club continues on the 3rd Monday of the month at the Old School, providing a free meal for all Saltfleetby residents.  You must live in the village to attend, and register for your place, as it's popular and limited.  Local volunteers do a fantastic job of cooking healthy, delicious, home-made meals.  If you're interested in coming along or volunteering, please contact John at johnfacer2@yahoo.co.uk or phone: 07761214219.

A Warm Welcome: during the winter months we open the Old School as a warm space, every other Monday between 12 and 3pm, providing free tea, coffee and biscuits to anyone, regardless of where you live.  We hope to run the event again from November 2026, details to be confirmed.
