Home-made scarecrows have been appearing around the village since Monday 1st September 2025, Prizes were given 

at the FUN DAY and Prize-giving on Saturday 6th September

Thanks to Trish Atkinson for helping out organising and setting up, Amy Epton behind the bar, and Jill Facer for helping out.  Well done and thank you to Kate Marshall and team for a great job with the raffle, tombola and games.

Thank you once again to Noi Sear and David for the unenviable task of judging the fantastic scarecrows.

Three-Steps To-Heaven: Classic 50s, 60s and 70s Live Music 

The winner of the tallest sunflower was Allan Burgess, with a height of 2.27 meters.

Another prize went to Barbara Ryan for one of her sunflowers having 7 heads.

This year the scarecrow festival raised £477.45 for Saltfleetby Community Park
Fundraising for a community park in Saltfleetby.  The aim is to provide a community park for the village, not only to have a play area for the children, but a community garden and a memorial area for everyone to enjoy.

The money made from the 2024  scarecrow funday was split equally between Lindsey Age UK and The Saltfleetby Play Park Fund who both received £155.00.
