Situated on the North Sea coast near Mablethorpe, The Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve consists of 1,377 acres of sand dunes, salt marsh, sand and mudflats. There are multiple amenities in the village such as the Marshlands Community Centre, Snooker Club, St Peter's Church and The Little Village Tea Shop.
Our Story
A small committee of volunteers who help organise activities for the village to enjoy, was established in 2021. We aim to help bring the community together and enrich rural life. Most events are free, any profit made goes into future activities or donated to charity. Events have taken place at different village locations including particularly the old village primary school which closed in 2016 and is now a cafe and events space. Also at the pub (now closed), the community centre and throughout the village. A freshly cooked meal is served for free to Saltfleeby residents only, at the monthly dinner club at the old school.
