Do I need to register to make a scarecrow?Yes Please! We recommend registering so we know if it was made by an adult or child (under 16) to enter it into the right judging category, make sure we don't miss any to be photographed and put on the map for others to find. Please phone John on 07761214219 or email: johnfacer2@yahoo.co.uk to register, or send a message with the contact form on this site. Of course, we'll still photograph any unregistered scarecrows we spot, but might not know they're there in time, or who made them!
-
What are the prizes?Everyone who makes a scarecrow will get a small gift. There's a trophy for the overall winner which you keep for a year and we give it to the winner next year. There are also prizes for the winners and runners up in both adult and child categories, for the funniest and most original scarecrows. What the prizes are will depend on how many enter the competition.
