About

After a very well attended and much enjoyed Open Gardens in 2022, we hope to be welcoming visitors again at a future date.. If you live in Saltfleetby and would like to take part, we'd love your support!.
We hope to raise money for charity by donations. from visitors, and the sale of refreshments, tea, coffee, and cake.  Toilets and parking should be available at the Old School. A map of where to find the gardens will be updated here if the event goes ahead in 2025.

Previous Gardens in 2022

In 2022 we had a wonderful variety of gardens open to visitors.  The impressive Prospect Tower built in 1812 in the grounds of Saltfleetby House can be climbed, offering amazing views of the surrounding countryside.  Visitors can enjoy drinks at Grove Farm's Hawaiian style outdoor bar and see the upside down tree!  See a miniature fairy village and play lawn games at Elder House where tea and cakes are also on offer. Homemade cordial, snacks and treats are available at Greenock.  The historic Mill House, has gorgeously kept grounds filled with a great variety of plants and flowers, lovingly and expertly looked after by the owners.  The old school that closed down in 2016 after 165 years, is now converted into a cafe and social hub with a new fishing pond in the grounds, where villagers could also buy plants, enjoy events, a lovely cup of tea and make use of the toilets!

Sadly we didn't have enough gardens to go ahead with the event in 2024.  If you live in Saltfleetby and would like to open your garden next year, please get in touch.
